About me
I am Abhay Juneja, MA (Instructional/Educational Technology) from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec. My experience encompasses instructional design, human performance technology, gamified learning, eLearning design and development, research, and implementing adult learning principles, with a strong focus on the ADDIE framework.
In 2023-2024, I gained hands-on experience as an Instructional designer at Coveo Solutions Inc., which gave me insight into the field within a corporate setting in Canada.

Professional Journey (Timeline)
As an L&D Team Lead at tech center, Toronto, I lead a team of two technical enablement managers. It is a creative unit where I have delivered hybrid trainings on various topics such as, change management (tools), platform walkthroughts; Created compliance trainings (such as AI governance); And worked with SMEs from four different timezones to create highly effective training material.
At Coveo, I designed self-paced learning modules that simplified complex AI and machine-learning concepts for internal customer-facing teams. I worked with SMEs to translate technical product knowledge into practical, scenario-based training. I supported the full cycle from needs analysis to design, development, and feedback integration.
At Bright School Online, I designed and facilitated training for teachers and educators who supported K–12 learners in a virtual environment. I created digital lesson guides, teaching resources, and practical demonstrations that helped instructors deliver engaging online learning. I also refined materials based on educator feedback and classroom challenges to improve teaching effectiveness.
At EduMust, I designed and facilitated training programs for volunteers and pre-service educators who worked with students in public funded schools. I created structured learning activities, teaching guides, and support materials that helped adults deliver effective ESL, digital literacy, and well-being sessions for a variety of learners. I also collaborated with partner colleges and community teams to align training with on-ground needs and improve the quality of classroom support.
At Haji Public School, I developed and delivered training for teachers working with K–10 students in a rural setting with limited resources. I created simple, adaptable instructional materials and model lessons that helped educators strengthen their teaching practice. I worked closely with teachers to understand classroom realities and tailor learning support accordingly.
Before joining the field of education, I was working full time as a software tester. This was my last out of three experiences in IT/software roles.
In this role, I learnt software test autation, deployment, debugging and many advanced technical tools that help me event today as an ID.
During this experience, I learnt working with advanced automation and deployment tools. I experienced working with all stakeholders including developers and product managers as well.
I started my career as a software engineer, and gradually transitioned into a software tester here. Since this was my first experience working in an MNC, I learnt working around processes, onsite clients and a highly structured work environment.
